location recording
MSB is available to record live performances at locations in
and around Bloomington, Indiana, and in other cities by special arrangement.
Our standard equipment for location recording is a 16-channel board and 24 digital tracks.
This is normally sufficient, but if you require
more tracks we can provide them at a higher cost.
Cost
The standard rate for location recording is $30/hour (same as the studio rate),
plus a $35 setup fee which includes transporting equipment to and from the
venue, as well as a soundcheck. A "rough" mix will be provided free
of charge, but studio time will have to be scheduled
in order to do a serious mix.
